Our story

When Monte Isola was just home, not destination

On the shores of Monte Isola, when the island was still far from the spotlight of tourism, La Foresta was born. It was 1974, along the road connecting Peschiera Maraglio to Sensole, among olive trees overlooking the islet of San Paolo. In this wild and poetic context, the Novali brothers created a restaurant that tells the territory with authenticity and passion.
